What this is
One page that answers the questions Tampa Bay asks every day, with a timestamp on every answer. It aggregates answers, not links. If a source goes dark, the tile says stale instead of pretending.
Sources
Every tile lists its sources in its footer. Aircraft data is from community ADS-B networks (adsb.lol, ODbL, and adsb.fi) and the FAA registry. Water levels from NOAA CO-OPS and NWS. Roads from FL511, FDOT, FHP, and THEA. Outages from TECO and Duke Energy. Calls for service from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office public GIS and Pinellas Sheriff active calls. This site is non-commercial and carries no ads.
Honesty policy
- Every tile shows when its newest observation was made, not when the page loaded.
- Absence is not evidence: a police helicopter with its transponder off does not appear. Fighters rarely broadcast position.
- Flood status is inferred from bay gauges and forecasts. There is no sensor on your street. Thresholds are estimates and say so.
- Nothing here is official. For emergencies use 911; for road closures use FL511; for evacuations use your county.
